Following an announcement last week Glasgow airport has proudly announced that its new terminal development, the skyhub, will be launched to the public in less that 100 days.

From 14th July the countdown began and it is hoped that the terminal extension will provide the airport with a greater ability to enhance the travel experience of its visitors.

Visit Estonia

If you’re looking for a cheap holiday destination then consider the little known Estonia.  It make not be as well known as popular destinations like Spain but its definitely worth consideration.

Situated south of Finland, Estonia is a great stop off location if you’re jetsetting to Helsinki in Finland or St Petersburg in Russia.

Beautiful Brittany

A trip to Brittany is worthwhile to experience the breathtaking, windswept beaches of France.  The people in Brittany have steadfastly protected and nurtured their ancient culture, cuisine and language making it an area separate in identity from the rest of the country and a region that can be visited exclusively.

Brittany was originally called Armorica by the invading Romans in 56BC.  However it was the claimed by the Clets in the 5th century and renamed the area Brittany.  Over the centuries Brittany was handed from one royal dynasty to another until eventually it was absorbed into France in 1532.  The French have tried on occasions to ban the Breton language but to no avail and the language is widely spoken across Brittany today.

Hippo Hits the Beach in South Africa

Tourists holidaying in South Africa were shocked and delighted when a hippo surfaced in the sea near the luxury holiday locations of the town of Barrito.  The hippo even sauntered up onto the beach before turning back and swimming off into the sea.
