As one of the most popular British holiday maker destinations, Tenerife is now on track to have even wider appeal to bargain holiday hunters as a brand new water park was launched last week. The water park is named Siam Park and boasts as being the largest water park in the whole of Europe.
As the name gives away the water park has a Thia theme and is easily accessible from the popular resorts Playa de las Americas and Costa Adeje.
For all you thrill seekers out there you will live the Tower of Power attraction. It will take your breath away as it drops down almost vertically. The drop takes you through a magnificent fish tank, home to tropical fish and some awe-inspiring Mississippi alligators.
Also see the Dragon, the Mekong Rapids and some more laid-back rides for the less brave including the Siam Beach and the Mai Thai River.
There will be events held at the water park’s amphitheatre and you’ll find plenty of restaurants and cafes and a beach club.
The Times recently published a review and found that with some of the amazing attractions and advantages the water park offered it could knock some of its major competitors of the top spots including Disney World in Orlando.

Our extremely disappointing British summer is expected to spur British holiday makers to splash out on around £8 billion on holidays this winter. This is due to a survey carried out by Abbey.
The results highlighted that approximately fifteen million British adults, equating to oe in three people, are looking to take a winter break regardless of the difficult economic conditions that have been created by the credit crunch.

A new flight from London to New York is due to be added by Continental Airlines on a daily basis. This will bring the number of flights on this route by Continental Airlines up to three.
It will be a direct flight flying out from London Heathrow and landing at Nweark Liberty Airport. Although awaiting government approval the additional flight is scheduled to start on 25th October 2008.
